Double fatality on Salt Marsh main road in Trelawny

Two people were killed in a motor vehicle crash on the Salt Marsh main road in Trelawny last night.
They have been identified as 54-year-old Norman Scott of Parker Avenue, Coral Garden, St James and Shane Francis, who is of a Falmouth Gardens address.
Reports are that the crash occurred about 9 o'clock between a truck and a car travelling in opposite direction.
The car, which the two deceased were travelling in, was reduced to a mangled wreck while the truck was hardly damaged.
Outside of Braco main road, that section of the highway has produced the second highest number of road fatalities in recent times.
