DBJ recognises winners of International Business Model Competition

On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, Development Bank of Jamaica and its partners hosted a cocktail reception in honour of the university students who won first and second place at the 2018 International Business Model Competition (IBMC) held recently in Utah, USA.

The winner, BEASC Technologies of Northern Caribbean University, won the Global Champion Trophy and US$30,000. The first runner-up, Eco Structures from the University of the West Indies (UWI), won US$20,000. A third team, Queritel, also from the UWI, placed seventh and was awarded US$5,000.
