Stewart’s Automotive Group officially unveils all-new Mitsubishi Montero Sport

Stewart’s Automotive Group, in association with Mitsubishi Motors, has officially unveiled the all-new 2019 Montero Sport, at a launch held at its South Camp Road showroom recently.
Several Mitsubishi brand loyalists and prospective owners were excited to test-drive the newly designed Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), which is renowned not just as a status symbol, but as a family vehicle and a tough, reliable vehicle on and off the road.
The third generation Montero Sport epitomises Mitsubishi’s ‘Drive your Ambition’ mantra, as it boasts a totally redesigned front that showcases Mitsubishi’s ‘Dynamic Shield’ grille, which is said to be the benchmark of the brand’s future models. It has chrome linings that surround the huge air intakes and extends up to the fog lamps, complemented by sleek LED head and tail lights.
For its engine, the all-new Montero Sport is powered by a new 2.4L four-cylinder DOHC 16V MIVEC VG Turbocharged clean diesel power plant. Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system (MIVEC), is responsible for achieving the vehicle’s high-power output, low fuel consumption and low exhaust emissions.
Safety features of the Mitsubishi Montero Sport include five-Star Safety Rating, eight Airbags, Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist and Mitsubishi Active Stability and Traction Control making it a perfect fit for Jamaican roads.

Boasting a full high-quality interior, the all-new seven-seater Mitsubishi Montero Sport also features 265/60R18 tyre with 18’ alloy wheels, Super Select 4WD (2WD/4WD/4HLc/4LLc), LED headlamp (auto levelling), Wide AM/FM CD display, six speakers (including two tweeters) plus hands-free and voice control system.
