Tank-Weld Equipment, official distributor for Shacman in Jamaica and the Caribbean, in partnership with the National Commercial Bank (NCB), hosted a two-day showcase in Mandeville recently.

Tank-Weld Equipment Managing Director John Ralston was happy to bring the equipment to a new market outside of Kingston. “The idea behind our shows is to bring our equipment to potential customers outside of Kingston, so they can see and feel them up close and get a one-on-one experience with our sales team to have all their questions answered,” said Ralston.

Tank-Weld partnered with NCB for the showcase to give potential customers an understanding of the requirements for purchasing a truck. “NCB is a great financial institution and we were delighted to partner with them at their Mandeville location,” said Ralston. “Having the NCB team onsite allowed interested parties to get a full view of the financial assistance they offer to purchase our equipment and showed that there is great support in the financial market for large equipment purchases.”

The Mandeville show featured a variety of trucks from Shacman, including F3000 and L3000 Dump Trucks and an X3000 Tractor Head, to name a few. Tank-Weld also brought along a 2.5-tonne forklift and a front-end loader from their earthmoving equipment brand Shantui.

“We carry a wide cross-section of equipment for various industries and we want Jamaica to be able to see what we have to offer,” said Tank-Weld Equipment Sales Manager Kirk Finnikin.

New under the Tank-Weld Equipment umbrella is Rymax Lubricants. They now offer premium lubricants made in Holland. “This is our first showing of our new lubricants brand Rymax,” said Ralston. “We are especially proud of this brand as it allows us to offer premium quality oil and lubricants at attractive and competitive prices, so we are very excited to showcase Rymax at this and all our shows.”

Tank-Weld Equipment and NCB plan to host similar showcases across the island in the new year, in hopes of bringing all that they have to offer to potential customers islandwide.
