JAMAICA:

In Wednesday's trading session the following reflect the movement of the JSE Indices:

  • The JSE Combined Index declined by 4,022.05 points (1.09 %) to close at 364,351.40.
  • The JSE Index declined by 4,672.58 points (1.29 %) to close at 357,728.66.
  • The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 5,128.43 points (1.29 %) to close at 392,628.14.
  • The JSE Select Index declined by 102.56 points (1.07 %) to close at 9,462.97.
  • The Junior Market Index advanced by 24.50 points (0.76 %) to close at 3,252.43.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 1.05 points (0.67 %) to close at 158.82.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 56 stocks of which 25 advanced, 25 declined and 6 traded firm.

Market volume amounted to 12,394,592 units valued at over $258,550,202.03. Carreras Limited was the volume leader with 5,246,517 units (42.33%) followed by JMMB Group Limited 7.50% with 3,560,341 units (28.72%) and NCB Financial Group Limited with 1,123,415 units (9.06%).

 

TRINIDAD & TOBAGO:

In Wednesday's trading session the following reflect the movement of the TTSE Indices:

  • The Composite Index advanced by 0.69 points (0.06%) to close at 1,240.81. 
  • The All T&T Index advanced by 0.93 points (0.05%) to close at 1,700.83. 
  • The Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.06 points (0.06%) to close at 105.09. 
  • The SME Index remained at 100.00. 

Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 16 securities of which 7 advanced, 2 declined and 7 traded firm.

Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 565,103 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at TT$8,361,408.96. FirstCaribbean International Bank Limited was the volume leader with 200,291 shares changing hands for a value of TT$1,605,900.70, followed by GraceKennedy Limited with a volume of 199,312 shares being traded for TT$597,842.63. Trinidad & Tobago NGL Limited contributed 49,963 shares with a value of TT$1,468,301.20, while Angostura Holdings Limited added 31,336 shares valued at TT$494,772.75.

The West Indian Tobacco Company Limited registered the day's largest gain, increasing TT$0.51 to end the day at TT$95.51. Conversely, Angostura Holdings Limited registered the day's largest decline, falling TT$0.10 to close at TT$15.79.

On the Mutual Fund Market 293,517 shares changed hands for a value of TT$5,865,098.55. Clico Investment Fund was the most active security, with a volume of 292,254 shares valued at TT$5,845,080.00. Clico Investment Fund remained at TT$20.00. Calypso Macro Index Fund remained at TT$15.85. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund Limited SCC — Development Fund remained at TT$0.67. Fortress Caribbean Property Fund Limited SCC — Value Fund remained at TT$1.70. Praetorian Property Mutual Fund remained at TT$3.05.

The Second Tier Market did not witness any activity. Mora Ven Holdings Limited remained at TT$14.49.

 

BARBADOS:

Two securities traded firm as 8,592 shares traded on the Regular Market, with a total value of BDS$8,866.50.

JMMB Group Limited was the volume leader trading 5,430 shares at BDS$0.41. They were followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited which traded 3,162 shares at BDS$2.10.
