Stocks Round Up | JSE Combined Index declines marginally

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) combined index declined marginally on Wednesday with an advance/decline ratio of 21/41.

The index moved down by 853.75 points or 0.16 per cent to close at 472,646.37.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 565.71 points or 0.12 per cent to close at 479,532.54, while the Junior Market Index declined  by 30.51 points or 1.03 per cent to close at 2,930.24.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 12.14 points or 5.30 per cent to close at 216.79.

1834 Investments up 5.00 per cent to close at $1.05

Losers 

Proven Investments USD down 11.62 per cent to close at $0.27
Jetcon Corp. down 10.71 per cent to close at $1.25
138 Student Living down 9.09 per cent to close at $5.00
Main Event Entertainment Group down 8.91 per cent to close at $5.83
Key Insurance down 7.64 per cent to close at $2.90.

Market volume

50.789 million units valued at over $97.368 million.

Volume leaders were Wigton followed by Sagicor Select Financial and Sagicor Select Manufacturing.
