Stocks Round Up | JSE Combined Index declines

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index declined on Wednesday with an advance/decline ratio of 49/25.

The index moved down by 536.62 points or 0.14 per cent to close at 373,193.65.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 1,643.55 points or 0.43 per cent to close at 377,598.56 while the Junior Market Index advanced by 89.79 points or 3.90 per cent to close at 2,393.93.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 0.49 points or 0.24 per cent to close at 202.26.

General Accident up 14.17 per cent to close at $5.72

Losers 

FirstRock ($US) down 13.04 per cent to close at $0.08
Stanley Motta down 11.11 per cent to close at $5.04
Carib Cement down 10.55 per cent to close at $39.77
Derrimon Trading down 8.33 per cent to close at $1.65
1834 Investments down 7.53 per cent to close at $0.86

Market volume

29.714 million units valued at over $130.762 million.

Volume leaders were Transjamaican Highway Limited followed by Wigton Windfarm and MailPac Group.
