Stocks Round Up | 32 stocks advance, 44 decline and 13 trade firm

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed Tuesday continuing a losing trend, declining marginally.

The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 32/44.

The combined index declined by 2952.68 points or 0.76 per cent to close at 387,642.00.

The JSE Main Market Index was down 3105.44 points or 0.79 per cent to close at 390,255.61, while the Junior Market Index declined 8.78 points or 0.33 per cent to close at 2,656.57

The JSE USD Equities Index declined 3.57 points or 1.85 per cent, closing at 189.30.

Radio Jamaica up 9.56 per cent to close at $1.46
Elite Diagnostics up 9.52 per cent to close at $2.99

Jamaican Teas up 8.02 per cent to close at $2.29

Losers

First Rock Cap holdings USD down 19.46 per cent to close at $0.07
Sterling Investments USD down 16.67 per cent to close at US$0.02
tTech down 15.10 per cent to close at $4.16
SSL Venture Capital down 11.86 per cent closing at $0.52
GWest down 11.43 per cent closing at $0.62

Market volume

Some 18 million units valued at over $ 88 million.

Volume leaders were Trans Jamaican, followed by Pulse and then Derrimon.
