Supreme Ventures Limited, SVL, which acquired shares in Main Event Entertainment Group at the end of April, will be partnering with the events manager to form a new production company.

Executive Chairman of SVL Group Gary Peart said it would be a 50:50 partnership that would “take advantage of huge potential in the market place”.

“There are other things in the market planned, and in due time you will see it,” Peart said Wednesday as guest presenter at the Mayberry Investor Forum, an initiative of Mayberry Investments Limited of which he is CEO.

SVL acquired 10 per cent of Main Event from MEEG Holdings, a company held by co-founders of Main Event, Solomon Sharpe and Richard Bair.

Main Event is one of the largest entertainment production companies in Jamaica, which stages corporate events, shows and converts, and weddings.

Peart said that the new company, would focus on areas not currently served by Main Event.
