Stocks Round Up | 138 Student Living today top advancer, tTech leads decliners

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index ended the week down on Friday.

The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 53/40.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 1,793.61 points or 0.45 per cent to close at 395,884.64.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 2,163.80 points or 0.56 per cent to close at 381,186.83, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 25.58 points or 0.59 per cent to close at 4,389.47.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 3.77 points or 1.75 per cent to close at 219.67.

Eppley 7.50% Preference Shares due 2024 up 17.68 per cent to close at $7.19.

JMMB Group 7.25% Var JMD Cr Preference Shares up 14.94 per cent to close at $2.00
JMMB Group 7.00% Var JMD Cr Preference Shares up 14.89 per cent to close at $2.16.

Losers

tTech down 15.73 per cent to close at $3.16
Palace Amusement down 11.11 per cent closing at $876.43
MPC Caribbean down 9.81 per cent to close at $96.01.
First Rock Cap Holdings down 8.99 per cent to close at $12.05
Mayberry Investments down 8.49 per cent closing at $10.02

Market volume

Some 35.94 million units valued at over $208.658 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Dolla Financial, followed by Ciboney and Sagicor Select-Financial.
