Stocks Round Up | JPSCo 7% today's top performer, Caribbean Flavours leads decliners

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed the week Friday on a winning note.

The moderate trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 42/53.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,499.50 points or 0.45 per cent to close at 334,072.41.

The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 1,262.43 points or 0.39 per cent to close at 322,420.29, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 34.78 points or 0.97 per cent to close at 3,629.45.

The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 1.66 points or 0.76 per cent to close at 215.70.

JPSCo 7% up 19.33 per cent to close at $397.99
Ciboney up 15.69 per cent to close at $0.59
Access Financial up 11.87 per cent to close at $22.99
Key Insurance up 7.69 per cent to close at $3.50.
Lasco Distributors up 7.60 per cent to close at $2.69.

Losers

Caribbean Flavours & Fragrances down 16.26 per cent to close at $1.03
Blue Power Group down 14.52 per cent to close at $2.06.
AMG Packaging down 12.33 per cent to close at $2.63.
IronRock Insurance down 11.89 per cent closing at $2.00
tTech down 9.09 per cent closing at $2.30.

Market volume

Some 24.6 million units valued at over $62.74 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were: Wigton followed by Indies Pharma and Dolla Financial.
