Cherine Anderson is not just a talent; she is a brand. Today, she will premiere a new online video series called Power Living. The series will be packed with information and entertainment featuring Anderson, as host, answering questions about investments, entrepreneurship, and the process of buying and selling real estate in Jamaica.
Power Living will premiere on CherineTV.com, as well as her YouTube Channel, CherineTV. It will feature various experts, including financial advisors, entrepreneurs and attorneys.
The content-filled series will bring value for free to viewers and will encourage interaction through various social-media platforms.
Over the past seven years, Anderson has studied and invested in real estate, and in 2015, she pursued another passion, that of furthering her studies to become a licensed realtor associate and strategist.
This girl from east Kingston knew all too well the challenges of moving from house to house until her parents were finally able to purchase their family home in Rollington Town back in the 90s.
Her experience and success in the entertainment business have positioned her to leverage her brand in other business areas. With this, she is now ready to motivate young Jamaicans to take a chance on themselves and pursue their passions.
Throughout my travels, I've met a lot of brilliant people who want to invest, buy their own homes, or feel empowered to start their own businesses, but most people don't know where to start," she shared.
With concerns that she might be putting entertainment aside, she responded: "That's crazy! I live for entertainment. In fact, the first single from my upcoming album will be released this month."
Anderson is an award-winning entertainer and motivational speaker-turned-entrepreneur. She is the first Jamaican female singer to hit the Billboard rock charts and has collaborated on projects with multi-platinum stars like Sir Paul McCartney, Britney Spears, and Madonna. She is also endorsed by legendary drummer Sly Dunbar (Sly & Robbie).
She has appeared on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show", "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and twice on Ian Boyne's 'Profile'

Anderson has toured with multi-platinum stars like John Mayer, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and Slightly Stoopid, among others.
An acclaimed actress, she starred in the popular Jamaican film Dancehall Queen and won the MTV2/Urban World Award for her role as Serena in One Love, co-starring alongside Kymani Marley and Idris Elba.
She is the co-founder of the ROC Foundation - an organisation that provides scholarships and mentorship programmes for youth across the island.
Anderson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Culture from Middlebury College in the United States and studied Japanese language and literature at Keio University in Tokyo, Japan.
