Westmoreland Artiste Added To Tosh's 'Legalise It' Remake

Brooklyn-based Westmoreland born reggae artiste Bucky Ital has just been added to the galaxy of stars participating in the remake of the Peter Tosh classic anthem, Legalise It.

The surprise addition was made recently by Brian Latture, manager of the Peter Tosh Estate and Peter Tosh 420. Surprise, because Bucky Ital is a fairly new artiste, and he now joins an impressive list of music icons like Melissa Etheridge, Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Tommy Chong and Denroy Morgan, who will celebrate International Peter Tosh Day on April 20 with the release of the remake single.

Legalise It is one of the first songs in the 1970s to push the agenda of the legalisation of marijuana, and Bucky Ital came to the attention of the Peter Tosh Estate following the release of his, Fly Away cult single, which won widespread acclaim on digital platforms within the United States.

In a recent Facebook post, that attracted thousands of views, Bucky Ital spoke about this new development in his career.

"I am in wonderful spirits and an upful vibes right now, just very grateful to be a part of this groundbreaking project," Bucky Ital told The Gleaner. "Peter Tosh has been one of my powerful influences and motivations over the years, and I know Tosh must be very happy to see the change in perception with marijuana today," he added.
