Xodus Carnival makes good impression

XODUS CARNIVAL, in its first year, managed to make a good impression despite not necessarily pulling the same numbers usually associated with having a single road march.

The parade commenced just after 10 a.m. along East King’s House Road and saw revellers growing in numbers every step of the way.

The colourfully decorated trucks were stocked with refreshments as the day promised much perspiration.

The RumFire truck had a sizeable following and its deejay got strong responses for songs such as Worst Behaviour by Skinny Fabulous and Live Mi Life byMachel Montano.

The police and security officials were also out in numbers, ensuring the safety and comfort of revellers.

Patrons without costumes still enjoyed the event either by hanging towards the extreme back of the parade or by flanking the sides of the trucks.

After 2 p.m., following the lunch stop at the ATL Auto House in New Kingston, patrons were back on the road for the final leg of an exciting, hassle-free experience.
