It was vintage Beenie Man at Saturday night's staging of Footloose at Mas Camp in Kingston. The deejay, well aware of the audience and what kind of music they came out for, kept it retro and delivered a rousing set, much to the delight of hundreds who turned up for the show.

Songs like Zim Zimma, Romie, Dancehall Queen, and Girls Dem Sugar had patrons firing blanks into the early morning sky, as the king of dancehall had them in a nostalgic mode.

Showing just why he has managed to remain a crowd favourite from the 1990s until now, the entertainer engaged the audience and had them participating in his set from start to finish. In his usual, charismatic way, the deejay took the audience on a trip back in time as he continued to entice with some of his biggest hits from the '90s.
