Summer is finally here. So you know what that means: it’s time to turn up the heat! Jamaica’s most viewed online entertainment event, Digicel Unplugged, will be rolling out ‘beach waves’ for online viewers on Sunday, June 7, with a high-energy dancehall edition. The virtual party series will feature three of the hottest names on the local music scene: Konshens, Teejay, and Kemar Highcon.

Chief Marketing Officer for Digicel Jamaica Nasha-Monique Douglas is ready to get set and ‘ring di alarm’ for fans to tune in and enjoy an unforgettable experience. “Our dancehall-themed versions usually bring out record-breaking views, and we expect that this one will be no different. Dancehall is the heart and soul of Jamaican party culture. This is why we have enlisted some of the genre’s hottest names to kick the Digicel Unplugged series into a higher gear.”

Konshens, a favourite among the ladies, will undoubtedly set the social media timelines ablaze when he drops classics like Bruk Off Yuh Back, Do Sumn as well as 2020 hits Make Me Say and Doh Care.

The self-proclaimed ‘Uptop Boss’ Teejay can be counted on to get the party into full swing with smash hits Owna Lane, Baller, My Type, and, of course, his internationally acclaimed dancehall anthem Uptop Boss.

And no stranger to walking among giants, ‘Sauce Boss’ Kemar Highcon will have his audience savouring his hot flavour when he touches the stage to sing So Saucy and his newest track Skin to Skin.

This is the third concert in Season Two of Digicel Unplugged. The series has, so far, presented a touching Mother’s Day performance featuring Freddie McGregor and Sevana and an energising gospel showdown including Minister Marion Hall, Jermain Edwards, and Rondell Positive.

The event will be streamed live on the D’Music app and on Digicel’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages @digiceljamaica, starting at 6 p.m.
