Wah kinda question dat? Mi able fi put on weight or mi nah put on nuh weight? Cuz that important innu, because if it a go fat we up, dat nah go work out. Yuh know wah mi favourite meal? Bully beef and rice. I will put the bully beef in the microwave and heat it and just put a little pepper on it and I’m good. Mi love bully beef and fry plantain, bully beef and breadfruit, just anything and bully beef. And next to that is sushi.

3. Where is your favourite chill spot in Jamaica?

Mi woulda seh maybe Hellshire. Just siddung outta door a eat some oysters and some food, but mi affi have friends though; it can’t be just me alone. If not (Hellshire), just pan Waltham, pan we block. Mi really simple, mi nuh fussy.

4. Where are you relationship-wise?

Mi single same way innu. I’m married to my business. You know I’m very naughty, but I’m single. When the time is right it (love) will happen.

5. What did it mean having the support of your mother right through your entire journey from fashion designing to music?

It meant a lot to me, and she’s still alive and still supporting me, and I’m sure she feels good because she retire and a me a take care of her. I bought her a new house; she lives overseas. She nuh short a nothing, she nuh affi worry about her bills dem no time at all, so it pay off back to her.

Bonus: What is the single most important piece of advice that you have ever received in your life?

That’s very deep (sighs). I think me woulda say mi get it from mi father, and mi always live by it. Him say don’t ever just talk about doing something, do it. Same thing weh mi always tell people; don’t just say yuh wah start something, just start it no matter how small it is. If yuh mind tell you to do something, just do it, and do it good and done.
