It is going to be a love fest in the intimate setting of the Courtleigh Auditorium located in the heart of New Kingston on Saturday, June 18, when four of Jamaica’s renowned entertainers take to the stage for the cabaret show, Bring Back the Love.

Two of the Jamaican award-winning acts who have made London and Canada their home – Jimmy James and Jay Douglas – will be flying into the city to join world-class guitarist Ernie Ranglin and the diva of rhythm and blues and jazz, Myrna Hague, for a night of spectacular music, themed with love and romance. Just before show time at 8 p.m. will be a cocktail hour at which patrons can meet and greet and get in the mood for a night of amazing entertainment.

The star-studied occasion will be under the patronage of former prime minister, P.J. Patterson.

Ace drummer Desi Jones, musical director for the cabaret show, says he and his musicians are ready to take patrons on a musical high. The two-hour long extravaganza is being produced by Lennon Crooks of LDC Productions, who spent many years in Canada where he showcased a number of Jamaican and international acts.

The show is being supported by corporate sponsors who recognise the benefit of keeping good music alive for generations to come.

Part proceeds from the Bring Back the Love will support the musical aspirations of promising students.
