First woman juror in Jamaica assize case

 

First woman to serve on a Circuit Court jury in Jamaica is Mrs. C. Buchanan of Hanover, who was a juror in a case tried at Lucea, on Wednesday last.

The accused, a man charged with an unnatural offence, was acquitted.
