Riddle me this, riddle me that. Who was hot under the radar, running amok and wreaking havoc? See for yourself in this week's 'Twas Trending.

THERE HE BLOWS

Hurricane Matthew was up to no good, giving us quite a scare. While we were lucky to be spared from its lethal path, Cuba, Bahamas and Haiti were not, receiving high winds and widespread showers, with many losing their lives in the storm's wake. Prayers go out to our fellow Caribbean nations.

THIS WILL KILL YOU

The governor of Florida could not have been any clearer as he warned before Hurricane Matthew made landfall by the end last week. Scores of families and friends evacuated the state, leaving supermarkets and gas stations empty. #PrayforFlorida

STORMY COUPLE UP

Never in history have two storm systems been in the Atlantic, but it seems Hurricane Matthew and Hurricane Nicole may be hooking up soon enough #tropicallovestorms. Let's just hope that if they happen to just join forces, Nicole will have no choice but to become Matthew's kryptonite and calm the storm once and for all.

TWIDDLE DUM

We've heard gloomy weather reports in our time but nothing quite this devastating in a while due to one storm. But to add insult to injury, Jennifer Delgado of the Weather Channel declared that the reason the hurricane affected Haiti so much is because of deforestation caused by the cutting down of trees, and because the children are so hungry, they eat them. Say what? Caribbean people all over took offence to the reporter's statement, calling it stupid as they shared and reshared for all to see.

ARTISTO DE LA PICTURE

It's lights, picture, Artisto, as social media tapped into their creative side in depicting cartoon-like sketches for themselves. Many revealed, too, that despite the app's valiant effort, it still could help some of them in the looks department. Ouch! Did you feel that? Shade thrown!

TAYLOR SWIFT AND

DEMI LOVATO BEEF?

Taylor Swift may embody female empowerment to many, but fellow singer Demi Lovato, in an interview, expressed that she has not been impressed with her methods of tearing women down to build others up, bringing her feud with pop star Katy Perry into the limelight with her hit single, Bad Blood. Some may argue that Lovato might be starting unnecessary beef. Who thinks there's bad blood between these two now, raise your hands.

ROBBED IN PARIS

When news broke that Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris, speculations lurked on social media as to whether or not this was yet another publicity stunt. But when the details included Kim K being held at gunpoint, locked in her bathroom, stripped of her valuables, then bolting the first chance she got back to the United States? That confirmed the unthinkable. Where were her bodyguards? Why did they travel light on the security department? Were the valuables insured, and last, but certainly not least, is Kim K okay? She only resurfaced late last week with a one appearance after the traumatic experience. That's not Kim K's modus operandi at all.
