The richest combinations of authentic Jamaican culture and vast biodiversity, fuelled by its abundantly fertile lands. It is the second-largest parish on the island and is considered by many as the breadbasket of the country. Throughout its history the majority of the island's produce came directly from the hard labour invested within its soil. The bulk of Jamaica's fruits and vegetables are grown here.

St Elizabeth is one of the few parishes that have upheld the use of traditions which have been passed down from generation to generation. Though the social scene has changed significantly, the parish has forged ahead in agricultural production and contributes significantly to the country's welfare.

It is the perfect location for ecotourism as the majority of the land is left to its own devices. Natropaths and herbalists have taken full advantage of the abundant native herbs scattered across the parish, which have helped to improve the lives of persons living with ailments and disabilities.

Life in St Elizabeth is holistically sedentary and offers an aura of relaxation among God's creations. From the vibrant green hues of bamboo along Bamboo Avenue to the breathtaking view of the Cockpit Country. The oldest parish on the island is steadfast in upholding their principles and values left to them by their forefathers.

St Elizabeth is the perfect place to take a break, go off the grid and be at peace while lavishing in the depths of a real appreciation for nature.
