The 'Old Capital' of Spanish Town in St Catherine is blessed with many unique eateries. One is Boss Foods and Catering Services. When Food visited the Wellington Street location recently, the delicious aroma was intoxicating. Jerked chicken, curried chicken in coconut sauce, chicken chop suey, curried goat, fried fish, curried cow skin, ackee and corned pork, stewed peas as well as their signature dish braised oxtail in Guinness were just a few of the offerings on their menu.

These dishes are served with natural juices such as; June plum, sorrel, star fruit, beet root, ginger beer, all served daily.

Its proprietor, Nadine Gayle-Watson, told Food, "We pride ourself on offering good food and exceptional customer service." She said her love for cooking evolved from her operating a restaurant to offering catering services.

So far her customers are well pleased with the wide array of authentic Jamaican dishes that Boss Foods offers. "The food here is very good and the staff deal with customers in a patient and timely manner. The place is always clean and items are reasonably priced, so I eat lunch here daily," said one such customer, Catherine Brown. Her sentiments were echoed by Jennifer Palmer who noted, "this is the place to eat, I like it here."
