100 Reasons - Savoury and Sweet
Restaurateurs could give you 100 reasons why you should visit their name sake, but Food can give you two: for their savoury and sweet indulgence.
Marketing manager of 100, Alexisse Chin, gave our team a warm and convivial greeting when we arrived at their home on Hope Road this week. According to Chin, the prime time food spot has opened its doors close to three years and business has been booming ever since.
Entertainment hub
"100 is an entertainment hub for just about any experience. If you feel like watching sports with a beer, there's the sports bar. If you're in the mood to wine and dine, then the terrace is the right place for you. If you're feeling for fish in the great outdoors, then we have upstairs, and if you want to test your luck, we have a top of the line gaming lounge.
We have 100 live every month and a comedy night on Tuesdays. If we see something that people really like, we'll tap into that niche and we're always working on improving the experience, but you name it: we'll deliver," she told Food.
The journey, she revealed, has been extremely good so far. People come for the good food, the great drinks and stay for the chill vibe. "If they're hungry for it, we'll just feed it." she added.
Speaking of hunger, 100 provided treats pleasing to the palate just for you, jerked chicken cocowich, 100 flatbread, salmon teriyaki and sweetened deal breaker - 100 jackpot, are some of the main features of their menu, bursting at every bite with flavour.
They've also levelled the mixing field by supplying you with drinks of pure intoxication. Mai tai, classic mojito, rum sizzle and zombie, will have you in a state of euphoria in no time. The foundation of these soiree inspired beverages? None other than Appleton.
"How can you not have Appleton in your bar: it's your choice of rum for Jamaican people and they offer a variety or products that are premium for persons at affordable prices," Chin affirmed.
So, if your desire is a great time, with three different restaurants, with three different ambiences to choose from, topped with an authentically Jamaican culinary experience, with a twist, find 100 reasons to treat your taste buds the right way and visit 100 Hope Road today.
