Eden Gardens Nutraceuticals (EGN) has decided to bring back tradition and tackle the healthy approach of eating every day to wellness with their lines of refreshing wellness teas.

Group CEO of R and D Commercial Holdings Limited, Richard Kildare explained that the teas have been on the market for close to six years but officially launched four years ago. "The wellness teas have been doing well so far.

Their versatile line currently comprises of eight enticing teas. These teas give new meaning to not only taste good, but being good for you, as it's combined ingredients incorporated provides healing properties. Guinea hen weed and cinnamon, known for its cancer-fighting properties, is great for pain relief. If you're not a fan of cinnamon, the tea is also available in just guinea hen weed, or guinea hen weed and ball moss, awesome for migraines,bloating and menstrual cramps, as well as improving immunity and maintaining a healthy nervous system. Lemongrass and ball moss, a strong anti-inflammatory, alleviates pain and anxiety.

Soursop and ginger, improves digestion, assists with nausea, vomiting and even insomnia - the soursop components can lower blood pressure and aid in the treatment of cancer. Bissy (kola nut), aside from helping with migraines, menstrual cramps also works well for fight allergic symptoms, food poisoning and raised blood sugar levels.

Cerasee and ginger, a rich antioxidant, eases headache, indigestion, nausea and a spiking blood sugar level. And the moringa and cinnamon, the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant combo, is prominent for lowering blood sugar and cholesterol, boosts the immune system and assists with circulation within the body.

The people's choice award for the most popular tea, Kildare shared, is the moringa cinnamon tea.

"Each set of teas has a core component and is developed based on extensive scientific research from our labs. Analysis is then executed to identify the vitamin properties. Then, mainly for the younger demographic, we add another flavour to amp up the taste profile. Hence, the creation of moringa and cinnamon," Kildare pointed out.

Aside from that, they don't just mix up herbs and blends, says Kildare. They are aware that highly concentrated quantities can become toxic to the body so they have integrate portion control, suitable for safe consumption,

So what's next for EGN? They're looking to expand their sipping horizons and already have five additional flavours in the pipeline. There are also supplements and porridges available.
