Owner of The Pub, Howard McIntosh, was well supported by family and friends on the 10th anniversary of the chill spot located at the Mayfair Hotel. Known for its fine cocktails and laid-back feel, it is an easy getaway for all who want somewhere to hang with friends, have casual meetings, or a date night.

Buffet-style catering and unlimited cocktails were the highlights of the night. Guests were welcomed by friendly and pleasant hostesses who were decked out in all-black attire in keeping with the theme. Many made their way to the Appleton Estate bar to get their drink of choice. Women enjoyed smooth mimosas and Moscatos, and Sangster's rum cream. The rums and beers seemed to be men's drink of choice.

Food was catered by Patsy Lyn Catering, who offered macaroni and cheese balls, callaloo quiche, panko chicken, potato wedges, escoveitched fish, and jerked pork which was perfection and a hit among guests. For meat lovers, the Sheriff Gourmet BBQ catered to all your barbecue needs with jerked chicken and pork.

The background music, which took us back to the late '90s, then to current R&B, was loud enough to be enjoyed but soft enough for conversation. As the night went on, people made their way to the dance floor and celebrated The Pub's first milestone.
