Clear skies, radiant summer sun and swaying palm trees in the backdrop. Sounds like paradise, right? GraceKennedy hosted a private tasting of the Grace Kitchen Cafe for the greatest concert festival in Jamaica: Reggae Sumfest, last weekend at Downsound Records.

Boasting 'flava with a beat' to complement Grace Food's campaign, the Sunday Funday saw specially invited guest coming out in their casual and uber chic 'Sunday best' to partake in the pleasures of an authentically delicious experience.

Chef Christian Sweeney of Fuzion Foodservice 'Graced' taste buds with a fabulous feast. The scrumptious Grace jerk chicken pasta and Grace jerk vegetable pasta at their pasta station had foodies returning for more of their rich, creamy flavour. Persons opened their appetite to tasty sweet and spicy chicken wings, Grace jerk foil roasted fish, served with corn on the cob with Grace jerk butter and butter almond festival. Then it was off to the jerk station for a crowd-pleaser: Grace jerk pan hot dogs.

Those intimately gathered sought shelter from the blazing sun in the afternoon, making their rounds among their faves. Once the moon began to trade places, rounds and population increased as those in attendance made great use of the picnic tables centrally located in the venue, dining under a starry night.

In order to beat the heat and relieve thirst, beer heroes Red Stripe was there to save the day with their wide array of beverages, which included their famous flavoured and regular lager.

At the end of the tasting party, Channel Programmes and Promo-tions Manager at Grace Foods and Services Limited Ricardo Smith announced that everyone present would gracefully walk away with a goody bag, courtesy of Grace. Inside was a pass for a free meal at Reggae Sumfest, as well as temperature soup cup and free access to soup all night at the main event, among other treats.
