American restaurateur Guy Fieri once expressed, “Cooking is all about people. Food is maybe the only universal thing that really has the power to bring everyone together. No matter what culture, everywhere around the world, people get together to eat.” Sharing in this savoury sentiment is Nestle Jamaica’s new superstar chef, Andrew Sloley. Let’s have a meet and ‘eat’ with him, shall we?

Chef Sloley has earned international fame for taking an ambrosial approach in the kitchen, travelling the world while working culinary magic to the delights of many. He sandwiched the meaty experience of hotels and restaurants in between ‘breading’ goodness in the dynamic company of the airline as well as the cruise line industry. From there, he returned to his roots and has since been ‘nestled’ in the arms of the largest food and beverage company here in Jamaica.

Relishing in the new adventure, he has high hopes of not only educating the public, foodies or otherwise about the many products under the umbrella of the brand, but to ultimately make Nestle the household name of choice. As a treat, he invited Food into the company’s majestic kitchen where he got down and delectable preparing few of his tasty dishes. The added bonus: he provided one of his recipes, just for you! Enjoy.
