The @NoShirtChefJA, Adom Burke is at it again, this time with simple dessert recipe for couples. As you spend more time together in quarantine, why not heat up the kitchen and add a little spice to your relationship with this banana treat?

Banana Filling

4 ripe bananas

4 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2oz Appleton Estate Signature Blend.

Crumble Topping:

6 tablespoons butter

1 cup flour

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1. Heat butter in a medium saucepan, and add sugar, stir over medium low heat until sugar starts to melt.

2. Add bananas and cinnamon, continue cooking about another minute.

3. Pour rum in carefully (this will create a flame, do at own risk) and slightly tilt pan while swirling around to ignite alcohol for a flambé finish.

4. Once the alcohol burns off and the flame is out, transfer banana mixture to a 6-inch ramekin or baking bowl (use a slotted spoon to prevent drowning bananas).

Crumble Topping

5. For topping add flour, sugar, butter and cinnamon to a mixing bowl.

6. Using your hands, squeeze and mix all ingredients over and over until it’s completely blended and becomes crumbly.

7. Sprinkle topping over banana mixture until well covered, gently pat over and bake for 15 minutes at 300º Farenheit.

8. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly then top with vanilla ice cream and garnish with banana chips.
