Rheumatoid arthritis, is an ailment affecting joints located on both sides of the body - wrists, hands and knees. It can also attack the eyes, lungs, skin, nerves, blood and/or heart. Young Jamie's symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis include stiff joints mostly in the morning, swollen joints of the knees, wrist, fingers, ankles, fever, and pain. Other signs of rheumatoid arthritis include fatigue and weight loss.

Fibromyalgia, is a condition casting physical blows to the muscles, bones, and soft tissue. Did you know that while women are mostly affected by fibromyalgia, it is common among men as well? Symptoms of pain relating to fibromyalgia, vary from patient to patient, and can move from mild to excruciating. Some persons can lead normal lives, while day-to-day activities for others are altered forever (there are those who travel between these two realms). Fibromyalgia cannot be cured, but it can be treated through medicine and lifestyle changes.
