Fitness guru Kurt Dunn and his Body By Kurt team had The Gleaner's Fit 4 Life participants drenched in sweat during the aerobics boot camp on Saturday morning.

It was the third staging in Fit 4 Life's 12-week Season 2 series, held at Oasis on the Oxford on Oxford Road, St Andrew, and everyone got a full body workout, which focused on lungs, heart and body sculpting.

Starting off with the 21-level beep endurance test, not many of the full house managed to make it to the end, but everyone gave it a go.

After a short water break, it was straight into Three-The-Hard-Way Boot Camp with fitness coaches from Sweet Energy taking participants through high-intensity dancehall aerobics, boot camp aerobics and Afrobeat aerobics.

Kurt then ended the morning session with body sculpting, using body weight.

Of course, the challenges were up next - happy feet burn out, burpee and power knee.

Fitness enthusiast George Thorpe was the top contender, taking home the prize in the burpee and power knee challenges, as well as completing the beep endurance test.

Winners earned prizes such as World Cup Football Finals Breakfast for two on Sunday at 10 a.m. at Oasis on the Oxford; gift baskets from sponsor Chas E. Ramson; Fit 4 Life gift bags, T-shirts and water bottles.

Power shake made with Foska Oats and Blue Diamond Almond Milk was just what everyone needed to refuel.

Week four of Fit 4 Life's Season 2 Tuff Enuff Challenge takes place on Saturday, July 14, with Sweet Energy Fitness Club at Jessie Ripoll Primary School, 26 South Camp Road, Kingston.

Everyone is invited to come out to each of the 12-week boot camps, free of cost, as The Gleaner's Fit 4 Life team journeys with Jamaica to a healthy, fitter life.
