October is Oral Health Month and Colgate-Palmolive, the world's leading oral care brand recommended by dentists worldwide, has again rolled out its international oral care campaign in Jamaica, and anticipates that October 2018's Oral Health Month events will bring a lot of excitement to consumers.

Colgate is confident that the month-long activities will build on last year's successes and further promote positive oral health practices by creating a platform to highlight the benefits of good dental hygiene and oral care.

FREE CLEANINGS

Throughout the month, Colgate will again facilitate a series of free dental cleanings and checkups, where educational oral health leaflets and Colgate toothpaste samples will be distributed. In addition, select Colgate products will be on special in leading stores across the island to encourage the use of quality oral care products and good oral health practices.

The programme is part of an international project which has taken the Oral Health Month activities to over 80 countries across the world and in the Caribbean and it has been met with tremendous support from the various territories in which it has been implemented.

Over the last years, Colgate has worked tirelessly to help spread oral care education and increase healthy oral care habits in children and youngsters through its school program. This programme reaches over one billion kids around the world, and impacts thousands in Jamaica each year.

This year's Oral Health Month activities are the most recent partnership between Colgate-Palmolive, the Jamaica Ministry of Health, the Jamaica Dental Association, and the dental students of the University of Technology Jamaica and the University of the West Indies, Mona. The Company remains committed to not only providing quality oral care products but also to promoting excellent oral healthcare in Jamaica year round, through different educational and service initiatives.
