Red Stripe Stand Up Award

Standing up and standing out in a world that values sameness can be unnerving. To do so requires relentless pursuit, unswerving passion, resolute boldness, and an unflinching drive to go against the odds to blaze new trails.

For the past 39 years, the Gleaner Honour Awards have been celebrating individuals and organisations who are trailblazers; non-conformists who give back and who positively impact Jamaica. This year is no different.

The calibre of recipients exemplify what we define at Red Stripe as those round pegs in square holes who see things differently, who possess the drive and determination to change the world, who Stand Up for what is right.

We, therefore, see it fitting and an honour to be the first corporate citizen to be given this platform, to present the inaugural Red Stripe STAND UP Award to a worthy recipient who stands up and changes things to enable Jamaica to continue punching above its weight.

In our 100 years as a business, Red Stripe has made an indelible mark on the fabric of this nation. Our contributions go far beyond curating good times and unique experiences.
