The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is coming in for praises after it nabbed the operator of a bus caught on camera heckling a female motorist.

The video shows the male driver and the female motorist in a heated verbal exchange as she chided him for attempting to force his way into the line of traffic. She used her vehicle to block his path, which was met with an expletive-laced retort.

“Manners!” she shouted as one man who was seemingly assisting the bus to navigate through the narrow space banged the body of her vehicle.

Serious-sounding threats were spewed in the direction of the woman, who remained defiant despite the heckling, while passengers in the bus looked on.

The incident took place along Half-Way Tree Road in St Andrew.

The JCF, in a social-media post yesterday afternoon, said the driver of the bus has been arrested and charged for various breaches, including dangerous driving, having no public passenger vehicle (PPV) badge, and carrying no fire extinguisher.

The bus was also seized and found to be defective, said the JCF, which also shared photos of the vehicle being towed.
