Cop found dead in Clarendon

The sudden death of a police constable has cast gloom over the St Catherine North police, divisional chief Senior Superintendent Beau Rigabie told The Gleaner yesterday.
Dead is Natoya Bryan, 42, of the Spanish Town Police Station.
The fire department was summoned and gained forced entry to the premises around 10 a.m. The cop’s body was inside her house in Longville Park, Clarendon.
“We are aware that her son was with relatives when she was found and I know that her team is not daunted to work, but are indeed sad at this time,” Rigabie said.
Bryan, a 13-year veteran policewoman, was last seen alive on Tuesday.
The cause of death is yet to be ascertained but foul play is not suspected.
Rigabie praised Bryan for regularly going beyond the call of duty.
“The death of this constable has caused great shock and sadness to the division, especially the Community Safety Branch,” the superintendent said.
Bryan was a former member of the defunct Island Special Constabulary Force.
