Motorists travelling on Gore Terrace off Constant Spring Road in St Andrew encountered some inconvenience this morning because of a truck that got stuck along the roadway.

The truck, laden with sand, was heading towards Wiles Haulage company when its right rear wheels sank into the road.

The section of the road where the incident happened was dug up by National Water Commission workmen and refilled yesterday.

When The Gleaner arrived on the scene, the driver had left.

One of his colleagues said the driver had left to get a back hoe to remove the sand from the truck.

Residents living in the vicinity of the incident had to use the opposite end of the road to leave the community.
