Congrats Dr. Christian

THE EDITOR, Sir:
Not so long ago, when his alma mater honoured him with a honorary doctorate, I sent a congratulatory letter to Dr. Glen Christian. In that letter I said that, to the best of my knowledge, the Order of Jamaica was the only worthwhile honour that had eluded him.
Last week, it was with a feeling of intense satisfaction that I watched him step up to the Governor General for that coveted award.
Dr. Christian is a Jamaican whose vision, humility and generosity of spirit has made his life not just an incredible journey, loaded with accomplishments, but an inspiration to those of his countrymen, shackled by self doubt, that "...all things are possible".
I offer my sincerest congratulations to Dr. Glen Christian. His is a life well lived.
