The name Jehovah is powerful
THE EDITOR, Sir:
What a powerful testimony is being given to the name of the true God. Many persons in Jamaica, whether they like it or not, now know the name Jehovah. The young lady used the name in a devotion and it sent shock waves through the Anglican school.
Why? People associate the name of the true God with Jehovah's Witnesses alone. For the benefit of all King James translation, please see the New King James version at http://www.dnkjb.net.
The Divine Name King James Bible (DNKJB) is not a revision of the Bible's message. Nothing has been added to the Bible or taken away from it. The DNKJB is the 'King James Bible' - with no changes to the text - except to put God's name where it belongs.
How do we know where God's name belongs? The translators of the Authorized King James Version of the Bible knew that God's name is Jehovah and put it in the Bible in four places.
The Divine Name in the Bible makes clear that no form of rulership by man - religious or secular - has any authority unless it is completely in harmony with the truth. Centuries of tyranny by apostate Christianity put extreme pressure upon Bible translators, and, willingly or unwillingly, they simply put the label Lord over it to hide its liberating power. Isaiah 42:8 - I am Jehovah. That is my name and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven image.
