Thank you, University Hospital

THE EDITOR, Sir: - I want to use this medium to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff and members of the University Hospital of the West Indies, Ward 2. My husband, Clarence Powell, was recently hospitalised with cancer and the level of professionalism, care, and concern with which he was treated was impressive. The entire staff showed empathy and was very kind during a very difficult period in our family. Sad to say, my husband has since passed.

Often times, we hear of the negatives associated with public hospitals, but that was not our experience. Once again, my sincere gratitude and may God continue to bless you all with good health and a caring heart.
