Excellent service at St Ann's Bay Hospital
THE EDITOR, Sir:
This is an open letter of heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation to the nurses and doctors in the Accident and Emergency Department of the St Ann's Bay Hospital.
I had a terrible accident on Wednesday, April 18, and was rushed to that facility. I went there because I've taken patients there before who were quite satisfied with the high standard of delivery, so when I had my mishap, there was no doubt where I would go for care.
I was not in the least bit disappointed. In fact, that's my reason for writing. First, to say a big, big thank-you to the staff and the senior surgeon, but in particular to Dr Nyhn (pronounced 'nine') and Nurse Godfrey-Bailey.
Their quick attention was thorough and caring (though I might have preferred a more private setting).
I'm indeed extremely thankful to them for their high level of service and ask them to keep on doing their job par excellence.
