Blasting NWC for dry pipes in Vineyard Town

THE EDITOR, Sir:
For more than five months I have been advocating that the National Water Commission (NWC) provide stable water supply in the Vineyard Town community, and while I am very appreciative and laud any efforts that they have 'tried' to implement, such as to come and test the water quality, they have not yet addressed the fundamental problem.
Residents of this community are still romancing our empty pipes with the hope that our absent love (water) will come to visit us in a meaningful way so that we can have a proper shower.
Not having to use a bottle of water to take a shower for more than 30 years where I was once residing, it is a strange phenomenon to come into a so-called residential community such as this and be forced to live under this type of depraved and unprivileged condition.
I have sought ways and means to best communicate with the NWC, but instead of fixing, it has got worse. Not only has the NWC robbed me of the pleasure of a proper shower, they have now hiked the cost of the water bill that I had been anticipating since the worsening of the service.
Help me, please!
