Oh, no, FLOW!

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I have to tell my friends at FLOW that you have dropped the ball and dropped it seriously.

On Monday, I arrived at my workplace in downtown Kingston to discover that the FLOW service was down in the area, causing us to miss the first two matches of the day, including the big Belgium clash.

Yesterday at home, in the Kingston 20 area, the FLOW service went down and was not back up at the time I decided that I had to leave home to ensure that I saw the Egypt-Russia game at 1 p.m.

In neither case was there any announcement from FLOW that its cables had been stolen or that the service would have been interrupted.

FLOW, I expect better from you. You know what the FIFA World Cup means to Jamaicans and you know the importance of keeping your customers informed.

As someone who benefits from your nice young ladies who call to remind me when I have not paid my bill, and in the most courteous tones accept my proposed new date to pay, I have no intention of switching cable providers, but this is really unacceptable service.
