The shame of Cross Roads

THE EDITOR, Sir:
I cannot believe that with the Cross Roads Police Station some 100 metres away, the 30-seater public passenger vehicles are permitted to block the Cross Roads intersection, thereby preventing traffic from moving forward when the traffic lights hit green.
The bus drivers use their vehicles with impunity to block the road while their conductors become traffic cops filtering passengers to their respective buses as they compete for human cargo.
Commissioner, can you take a look during peak hours at this intersection and have the Cross Roads police end their complicity with the indiscipline?
