Why rename Bog Walk high?

THE EDITOR, Sir:
As a past student of Bog Walk High, I must commend the staff, ministry, and other past students for their invaluable contribution in building the institution.
I admire the initiative of Education Minister and his team for wanting to honour Enid Bennett as a person others should aspire to emulate.
I wish no disrespect of any sort, but to rename Bog Walk High after Ms Bennett is disrespectful to her legacy. Since she was very instrumental in the school's inception, she and the rest of her colleagues must have had a good reason to call the school by its initial name, so why change it?
