Sleeveless ban review sensible

Published:Sunday | August 12, 2018 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I am so very happy that the ban on sleeveless attire in government buildings is being thrown out.

I visited Jamaica for vacation and needed to get some business done in Mandeville after driving from Montego Bay. I was denied entry into the business entity because my blouse was sleeveless. I was, therefore, not able to get business done. That practice is so wrong!

I read where a young lady was denied access to a hospital because she had on shorts. As long as cleavage is not hanging out, pants are not saggy, underpants not showing, and breast, leg and thigh not indecently on display, then we should not be denied entry.
