JP dilemma

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Here in the United States, a person only has to walk into any place where there's a notary public, produce a valid government identification, pay $2, sign the document in the presence of the person, and that's it.

What is the alternative then for people like me who don't live in Jamaica but do visit and conduct business regularly and don't know a justice of the peace personally? When I need documents to be signed, what do I do?
