Impressed with Government's performance

Published:Friday | November 16, 2018 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

As I sit on the veranda of my grandmother's house, I could not resist smiling with joy after overhearing a conversation between some sixth-form students. They were discussing how pleased they were with the performance of this current administration.

STATIN has been releasing statistics that would have highlighted positive data. Youth employment is now at the highest it has ever been. Unemployment is at its lowest. The Jamaican dollar has regained its value.

The economy is growing. Investments have been made to improve the infrastructure of Jamaica, which will bring more investors and more jobs to its people.

It seems clear to the students that the current Government isn't just talking but doing the work it needs to do.

Wow! It seems that this Government clearly has a plan. I mean it's just two and a half years, right? I'm very proud of this Andrew Holness administration and I'm hoping that it will continue working for the people. A dat you call prosperity!
