Mandeville rage over empty pipes

THE EDITOR, Sir:

We, the residents of Caledonia Boulevard, Galway Road and Great House Drive, Mandeville, are writing to seek redress for an ongoing problem with the inconvenient supply of water from the National Water Commission (NWC). This problem has prevailed for some time now, and many of us have had to rely on purchasing water from private providers.

Despite not receiving water from the NWC, sometimes for several weeks at a time, we are presented with bills for water we have never received. We are at our wits' end at paying for a commodity that we are not receiving and which makes life very uncomfortable for us.
