Deportees from the UK

THE EDITOR, Sir:

The way I see it, the present and previous Government didn’t do much to protect its citizens who resided abroad.

Most of these people are the ones who toiled day and night for the countries that they called home.Some of these people have given their best, and at the end of the day, they are paid with deportation back to where they came from.

As you already know, many of these people have spent many years living and building a country that they believed would be their home away from home.

Yes, they have done wrongs, but what about rehab? This cannot keep happening.Mr Prime Minister, it’s time to speak for your people abroad. Please address this matter urgently.
