Jamaica has world-class doctors

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Jamaica has some of the best trained doctors in the world.

Since my visits, I have met some and in December 2018, at The University Hospital (of the West Indies), I met a Dr Brooks and Jamaica should be proud to have mothered him. I had to visit another family member at the Spanish Town Hospital and met a Dr Mohammed, surgeon. Brilliant surgeon.

I would like to know how far are these brilliant doctors allowed to reach. On my return, for instance, I gather Dr Brooks is now at the Spanish Town Hospital. I will be visiting in the next few months and will call on them.

As a human being prone to illnesses and the like, I can only salute you both, Dr Brooks and surgeon Mohammed. The sky is the limit for you.
