Bunting win would’ve damaged PNP

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Gordon Robinson’s column ‘PNP leadership no-deal Eggxit’ (Gleaner, September 10, 2019) was a good piece. Maybe it’s our age why I wholeheartedly agree with Mr Robinson.

If you want to be a leader, you must be able to support another leader, not tear him down in public. I’m surprised that people don’t realise that had Bunting won, more damage would have been done to the People’s National Party (PNP).

When the dust swelled, the more mature supporters would have been so disillusioned. And the Bunting supporters would be asking for more of what made them vote for him, whatever that is. If he wasn’t able to deliver, it would cause vexation.
